We had a great experience at the Automotive Center of Slidell. The business was very clean and welcoming and the staff was great. They explained everything very well and worked hard to try and save us money. We had a lot of work done; tires, shocks, alignment, etc. They did all the work in one day and I really appreciate that. AAA members get a discount. The next time I need my car serviced I will definitely be returning.

Amazing service. My car broke down a few miles away and I talked to Andy on the phone and he helped me with a tow truck and really hooked me up. Was able to get my car looked at the same day, and fixed by the next day. Absolutely amazing service.

My best summary is that the only thing I get done anywhere else is oil changes. I trust their work and especially their honesty. They also have a comfy waiting room and they will drop you off anywhere in Slidell for a long wait.

On December 26, 2025 I was headed home to Alabama from New Orleans. I had some car trouble in Slidell and called Automotive Center of Slidell. They helped me setup a tow to their shop and addressed my problem immediately. Within an hour I was back on the road to home. It was quick and affordable. I would recommend Automotive Center of Slidell to anyone in the area or just travelling through. As a shop owner myself, I strive to provide the type of service I received at the Automotive Center of Slidell!

Every interaction I've had here has been fantastic - from the owner, to the service technicians who've worked on my vehicles, to the friendly staff at the front desk (shout out to Andy for his fabulous customer service ALWAYS!) . Their rates are very reasonable, and they've always done exactly what they said they would. They stand by their work, and I've never had a single issue with anything they've repaired or serviced from major work completed with a rear differential replacement all the way to just stopping in to have one of my 37 tires plugged from snagging a nail on the road. Heck, even if I just have a mechanical question Andy has always been there willing to chat. What really sets them apart is their honesty. They don't sugarcoat or try to upsell unnecessary work - they're straight with you, and that means a lot. On top of that, they're friendly, genuine, and just good people. Honestly, these have been the best experiences I've ever had at any automotive service establishment in my adult life. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I drive my car from Covington to Slidell to be serviced by them! They are so friendly, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond to assist you in getting your car serviced to the utmost capacity. The servicemen also appraise you of upcoming repairs you will need as your car ages. Mine is ten years old and drives as if it is brand new! I also love the owners.They are good Christian upstanding pillars of the community.

My AC went out the day before NewYear's eve, so we called and they took my car and it was ready to pick up on Jan. 2nd at 8 am. AC works FANTASTIC!! I'm ready for hot Louisiana days!!! I highly recommend Automotive Center of Slidell! Super nice people, awesome service and a quick turnaround.!!!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! My daughter and I were on our way to Gulfport for a softball tournament and stopped in Slidell for breakfast. After coming out and trying to start the jeep it wouldn't start. Long story short I googled automotive places in the area and thankfully this place showed up! After having my husband call and talk to the owner, my daughter and I had a tow truck come and tow it to their shop. They got right on the problem and had us running in no time! Wonderful family owned business and being a woman on the road it's great to know these places exist! I'd give 10 if I could!!!

5 star service. I was really worried my truck was going to be there for at least a week for the amount of work I needed done. I dropped it off in morning and everything was done by that afternoon. Andy was really helpful and communicative throughout the day updating me on any issues. Definitely the best experience here than any other shop I've used in Slidell.

Best mechanic I've ever been to! My car broke down in Slidell when I was coming from Seattle, WA and Andy took the best care of me as I was stranded in a town I knew nothing about. He ordered the parts even though they were hard to find and the mechanics even stayed late to figure out what was going on and how to fix it. Anyone who needs work done on their car, this is the place! I couldn't recommend them more and I'll never forget their kindness.

I broke down on the interstate on my way to New Orleans with my wife and dog, and did a quick google search on auto repair centers in the area. After calling a few places I spoke with Dale from Auto Center/Slidell who was very friendly on the phone. Being from out of town it was kind of crap shoot, but Dale made me feel confident that this was the right place and we I couldn't have done better with my pick if I tried. When we arrived with my vehicle they were ready for us, and said they would get us back on the road by the next day. Dale went as far as finding us a room for the night and even drove us there - southern hospitality at its finest. The next morning I received a call/quote on the repair in the morning from Josh, which seemed fair for the work being done (Alternator on my Honda Pilot). They had us back in the road by noon - unbelievably efficient. Dale, who turned out to be the owner, went above and beyond and even applied a discount for good measure, which was incredibly kind. I would recommend Automotive Center of Slidell to anyone who wants to be treated kindly, and be treated fairly, along with having the work done timely and efficiently. Thank you Dale, Josh, and Ryan (mechanic).

They don't treat me like I'm clueless about cars. Highly recommended! 2023 update - still great. Keeping the old truck on the road. Excellent service, good guys, they do a great job.
